A New Rochelle teen feared for the life of her infant son when she was attacked in her home by the cop husband of Channel 4's Darlene Rodriguez, she claims in a pending lawsuit.

"She was afraid he was going to kill the baby," lawyer Jonathan Damashek said, referring to then-New Rochelle police Sgt. David Rodriguez. He was a supervisor on Feb. 8 when the teen had her live-in boyfriend arrested for allegedly threatening her. Rodriguez left, but soon returned alone. He was at first "flirty," she said, but quickly turned aggressive.

"He told me, 'Just take it as a nightmare, and tomorrow, when you wake up, this will all be in the past,' " she told WCBS-TV last night.

Rodriguez has resigned and pleaded guilty to misdemeanor official misconduct. His lawyer didn't return calls.
